Does anybody else think that we need updated seasons in the UK? The traditional Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter seasons just don't cut it anymore.

Clearly Summer has all but disappeared leaving only a pitiful "Summer Lite". A 2 week spell of nice weather somewhere between the end of April and beginning of May. This is to lull you into the false hope that the weather may actually be nice this year.

Instead of summer we now have the "Rainy Season". This tends to last from Summer Lite to the month of September. The Sun will pop out from time to time but this is swiftly followed by heavy showers, usually at lunch times or other occasions where you may have the opportunity of stepping outside!

And that leads us to Winter starting in September followed by "Deep Winter" from Late November. This takes us miserably back full circle to Summer Lite.

Lyric on my lip

Ever had a song stuck in your head and it won't go away? Of course you have. Who knows why it happens but it's often annoying!

So, for no specific reason, I thought I'd get them out of my head and onto this blog. Totally random I know but why should I suffer alone? :-)

SUNDERLAND (0) - Man City (3)

What a horrible day - on and off the pitch. After an a bright start we let in a soft goal then 2 more in quick succession. The drizzly weather reflected the attitude of the players from then on as heads dropped. As we left the ground, the heavens opened to soak us to the bone - a somewhat fitting finale to the match. :-(

Here we go...

Hi and welcome, I thought I'd officially open this blog seeing as it's only been around since March 2008 and I've not posted a single thing!

During this time I have been on a rally around Europe in an old escort, had a stag weekend in Dublin, got married in Morpeth and had a honeymoon in Italy - none of which I have written about here! Pretty poor going really.

So lets see where we go from here... :@)
